Fired the bike up for the first time in a while today and as soon as the engine started it flashed this up. It's had slicks fitted to the oem wheels, and the Ducati race bodywork fitted since being started, it's also been into the dealer for a gps module install, i'm not sure if they fired it up or not. Also they did some recall things. I've taken the wheels out and checked the abs sensors etc and everything looks as it should, restarted it a few times (!) and still same error. Any ideas ? It's off to Portamio tomorrow ...................
did you have the dummy headlight fitted as well as the fairings.. if the air speed and pressure sensor isn't reconnected it can say that.... and you are not displaying air temp.. minimum call out fee applies! its a bitch to get to and needs the nose fairing sections off it sits at the back of the dummy headlamp bit sort of on the clutch lever side
if you are going to Portimao you also want to put it in track A mode and full power...... you can still have the display as a rev counter if you like. and suspension wise I would go to fixed front and rear best you can do is play around with the buttons as it is difficult to navigate and find stuff
Yep spot on, forgot to reconnect that - as soon as I did fired it up air temp displayed no traction error............Thank you so much, couldn't think straight and went into full panic mode as dropping the bike tomorrow ! I'm getting good at getting that front end on and off !
I've only ridden it 0.5 a mile up and down the road so far ! I was planning on putting it in B mode for the rear trail brake feature, how come you use A ? I haven't researched the difference yet in A or B ?
just my call out fee to cover then… You need to read the ecbs bit of the manual as the different settings create a different set up re the rear braking from combined braking to the rear brake acting post front brake … so much going on it takes a while to work through it…
@Fastmonkey I tried ABS1 (with the trail braking) the first time I took it on track and didn't get on with it. I'm not fast enough for it and it kept giving me the feeling it was going to fall over onto the apex. I guess that is what it is supposed to do, just not as slowly as I do it! I settled on using ABS3 which is still track ABS with the rear being applied with the front, it just doesn't trail the rear after you come off the front.
I went race B active 1 to start and then went to race A active 1. I really noticed and liked the rear trail brake, especially in the slow corners, I was using a thumb brake on my previous bike (well learning to use it! ) and it makes a big difference. I was just getting used to the bike and settings etc, smashed in a PB before lunctime and then got Noruvirus on the Saturday afternoon and didn't return to the track
