Looking to add some adjustment and comfort to my ST3 Any ideas and thoughts welcome Thanks These look good https://www.probrake.de/Clip-on-handlebars-REVO-Touring-XL-for-Ducati-ST-3-S-06-07-S3 These also look like a viable option https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/26670233...lN60w--7KYozgZuXUgLrvk6Mr1BWjmWhoC_oAQAvD_BwE
I had Helibars on my ST3 but they weren't comfortable for me. I saw the first ones you refer to on my search, but eventually I ended up buying the ABM Superbike conversion top yoke, I can now fit the riser and handlebar combination that suits my riding position. Or you could buy a second hand Monster top yoke which would fit too.
I went with the ABM top yoke super helpful seller - stopped fiddling now and riding to work meetings as much as possible
Hi there. I also own a 2007 ST3, 55y old, sore knees and hip. I'm interested in this conversion. Did you have to change cables/lines with this conversion? Thanks in advance.
Got this kit, all standard hoses etc work with it if you route everything properly. Huge difference to comfort and in my opinion it steers better too, probably because I'm more relaxed.
Great. How much approximately did the bars move up and back? If you measured before and after. I know it's hard to tell exactly...
I'm inclined to do the conversion myself, but I don't have that special tool for steering axle nut. Can it be purchased on ebay or is there some other trick?
You can use a monster top yoke from a similar year. I think the stem doesn’t need a tool as the yoke clamps on to it. At 285 the abm kit is worth it. If you don’t need any other parts.
