V4 V4 Rally Clutch Slipping

  1. '23 plate bike with 14,000 miles on the clock.

Clutch has just started slipping, all gears, all modes under rapid throttle opening.

    Common at this mileage/age?

  2. Has it lasted 14k from new? If so you have done well.

  3. It must have done another 14K in a container :D

  4. How different is the V4 Rally wet clutch to the previous 1260 wet clutch ? My 1200 Multistrada had over 50,000 miles on the original wet clutch and as far as I know, is still going. Andy

  5. Have you been to the dealer yet, surely this would be covered under the 4 yr warranty and low mileage ??

  6. Yep - bike going in to them in a few days. I'm not hopping up and down, just curious whether others have had the same issue.

  7. My 21 V4S has now done 30K miles and clutch feels good, cant think there is much difference. If any, between clutches on the V4S and the Rally.

  8. Same wet clutch in both I think. Only RS has different (dry) version.

Of corse, the bike did start life as a Ducati ORS bike, so that may have something to do with it...

  9. My PP clutch has done nearly 24k miles no issues so far, so should last a lot longer than 14k, mine has been on track a few times as well.
