  1. I see you intend to use the laptop with diagnostic software. Which compatibility layer do you intend using with Debian? Sounds an interesting little project. I was a massive fan of Windows XP and still use it on my diagnostic only netbook (no internet).

  2. No, you can't be, because if we are both different then we are the same.
    The being different paradox.

  3. You can be different on different levels, if that helps :D Andy

  4. From now on I'll try to be the same.

  6. Gradually it's coming back to me. Last time I dual-booted Windows and Mint KDE, I ran Virtual Box in both. Why I did, hasn't come back to me yet*; but anyway you could run the same VMs from either boot. With Additions you get USB support, so I suspect that I won't dual boot - because this is purely for the workshop - I'll run 7 or 8.1 virtually. I assume jpdiag will run thus.

*Possibly to run Office. I tried it in Wine and didn't like it at all! And I prefer Outlook (2007).

Edit: I'll run 8.1. I no longer have 7 or XP. 8.1 is fine with the right hacks.
