Following a nightmare of admin bureaucracy for some paperwork from Ducati West Europe (Paris), I need a email address and even better a phone number where I can actually speak with someone who can help sort out some issues. Ducati West Europe probably the best, but I'm so desperate any official numbers (UK/France/Italy) may help to get things moving. (I've gone though online webforms and even sent letters to Paris head office already. It's just a black hole of communication) Does anyone have anything? By DM probably the best. Thanks. Grant
Ah, bugger! Hopefully someone else will chip in... Have you tried the Contact Us page? https://contact.ducati.com/ww/en/light/contactus/website
Paris, in my experience can be either a delight, or a nightmare to deal with, according to my local dealer, it depended entirely on which desk of two your enquiry arrived at. Two of us were registering full power UK bikes in France via the same dealer, both dossiers went in within two days. One, for an 1198S came back straight away with the necessary bits of paperwork. Mine, after requests for more paperwork and a requirement to first buy and fit a France standard ECU then buy a full power ECU from Ducati France and pay full price them to fit it all ( bearing in mind I already had access to a French map to flash onto my ecu if necessary ) meant I took my MTS back to the UK and sold it there! Guess which desk my dossier landed on? Good luck and I can only hope things have changed over the years.....
They haven't improved. Waited something like 6 months for one CoC and 5 months for the next. Turns out they sent a type approval document and not a CoC...can I speak to someone...nope, will someone respond to my emails...nope, will someone respond to paper mail...nope. My local dealer is beyond incompetent, I had to do all the work for them, and then they demand payment when a Ducati approved refund was issued which they didn't fulfil. Unbelievably bad service.
I have used the general contact email address for Ducati several times and received a phone call within a short space of time.
Scrape Linkedin for contacts names then use (scummy) lead contact websites like LeadIQ, ZoomInfo etc to get their contact details (emails, phone numbers).
That sort of thing probably works well in places like the UK and the USA - in France I'd say its unlikely that this kind of approach would even elicit a response, if it did and this complaint filtered down to the person responsible, either your dossier would get put back to the bottom of the pile, or accidentally fall into the shredder.
