Fair to say the reviews are pretty good and it’s even *sensibly priced for this day and age. https://www.motorcyclenews.com/bike-reviews/triumph/street-triple-765-rx/2026/
Nice to see that Triumph haven't spoilt the bike with the latest updates. I've got a 765RS, it's a great road bike and very good on the track too!
Having owned a normal 765 RS and a Moto2 765 I would buy the cheaper bike. Not worth spending the extra imho.
I could be way off but I can't see many 765RS perspective buyers considering the trident,I wouldn't and have been mulling over a 2025 speed triple 1200rs or 765rs.
As a 765RS owner... I sometimes wish the bike had a full race fairing. Triumph should offer that as a parts option?
If a buyer is looking at a 765R then they obviously don’t want the RS. The Trident is a less sporty option, just like the 765R was.
Much like the Aprilia RSV and RSVR the RS was more track focussed whereas the R is road focussed, yes it has more trick bits and slightly more bhp but the R is a more comfortable road weapon. The Trident is a much more sedate ride and a completely different riding position and style. Mrs Visor is not a slow rider and you can't get her off her R but for the extra money she wouldn't have taken the RS and you would never get her on a Trident.
They stopped making the R for a reason. It doesn't sell many. The majority who want a Street Triple went for the RS.
I have a supposed limited edition Moto 2 Street Triple which I really enjoy. So I’m a bit miffed that they are making a new one . However I’m not sure how one could justify paying the £1600 extra over the RX for the same bike with a few bits of carbon and some Moto 2 logos.
The Euro 5 765’s have a welded one piece exhaust system. The answer is to buy the previous models headers that are a straight fit plus end can of your choice. My system came in at about £750 total
I'm so ready for another Triumph, only bought the Duc as I thought four speedys in a row as a bit obsessive
