I am meeting up with Darren who runs the Sussex Ducati members club at 11.00am on Saturday and we are heading up to Newlands. Anybody up for such a meeting? It'd be great to put some faces with some avatars.
A gathering of fine men and machines in weather conditions that can only be described as disappointing. Great to meet a few peeps today and thanks to Pete and Chris for seeking me out. Also met James with the sooper dooper expensive bike and the amazing helmet paint job but can't remember exactly what the bike model is ? My little numpty ST2 was tucked away behind the exotica seen in the photo.
I have to say that I totally get it. OK, so I had a huge layoff from bikes (40 years) but having now dipped my toe into the world of Ducati I can see the attraction. These bikes are not only beautiful and functional but they sound incredible in a raw and honest sense. I love all other bikes as well but this Ducati experience is just something that I don't think I could have experienced elsewhere. I guess many of you guys are purists from day one but how many others on here are converts from previous marques and why?
