I had noticed recently that things were a bit wobbly up front on one of the supersports so I replaced the headlamp/instrument support. There appears to have been a structural anomaly.
Just fitted ExactStart cables to my 1260 Pikes Peak. Starting I still pretty sluggish. Was quite a job installing along with a new battery. Cable routing neatly too and having to adapt the extra positive lead added by the common recall. Might have to investigate the starter motor next. Reused the original rubber boot on the starter motor, the one supplied as part of the kit was pretty crap by comparison.
Tried to bleed the rsv4 rear brake I've fitted to the frankenstein mille. As I dont have a Mr Suck, I connected a clear pipe to the caliper and sucked on it like hell while pumping the brake pedal. Result! And having a clear pipe meant I didnt get a mouthful of DOT 4
