Anyone got one from any of the usual suspects and any good? was in the dainese shop earlier and quite liked it but want to know if others have tried others before i drop over 100 quid on some chinese plastic
Just no, get the seperate dainese kit blue, green & red lark. Going to the pooh would mean full-decanting ones clothes.
Held one-piece - nice and warm. Zip down the front. A-stars one-piece - very comfortable, but you need flexible shoulders and its a wrestling match to get it on or off. No zip, entry via the back just below the shoulders. Poo? Just go before you leave home!
Pro Skins one piece is excellent, zip opens / closes from top or bottom making going for a wee easy, 151's are also excellent
Is it for warmth? If so, I suffer from poor circulation in the legs and have tried all sorts... the best I've found are merino wool leggings by smartwool...they are pricy at about £120, but they are by far the best I've found. (They do a matching top if required)
I am learning about base layers in preparation to launch my own product range. The first product will be for track day users, so “wicking” sweat is important, but also toilet functionality and some protection for areas that from my experience, leathers do not protect in crashes. There will also be an “ID” pocket for when the marshal has to deal with you in the gravel and the Med Centre staff need to know your vital personal data in your moment of distress. Enjoying the product feedback on here, keep it coming please. Terry, the latest member of our team is wearing a Proskins one piece
Add some sticky silicon strips to keep a non attached chest protector exactly in place. My A* one has these on back of protector but it does tend to move around over my base layer a little
Yeah chest protectors are a challenge. All sorts of shapes, sizes and thicknesses with no obvious attachment points.
My last Dainese jacket has a really elegant solution for a chest protector. There is a pocket on the left inside that when opened reveals the lining that comes out as a mesh to hold the protector in the right location over the chest. If you want I can snap a photo (on Tuesday)
