Good to see Sylvain on a BSB bike again

 

I might have a ride over on Saturday, it's cold or raining every year they test there I think, seems to be every time I go.

Yes, arrived yesterday and survived the howling gales last night. Froze my proverbials off at Hollywood today in the bitter wind, on post at 8:15, finished at 18:50. More of the same tomorrow but good to be back in harness. Andy

 

Shame that there is no coverage on one of the 4 TNT channels. I realise that there’d likely be large gaps of no bikes on track but they managed it for WSBK

Not sure if Kyle Ryde will be leaving the lights on when BSB starts

 

Just looked at timings from yesterday, that bike is classed as a superstock so I assume (but may be wrong) it still has the full suite of Ducati electronic magic, he was quickest on it yesterday and 0.6 sec quicker than he went on his BSB spec bike, quite amazing for something that still had lights.

 

No electronics, all "turned off" ...... allegedly Andy

Was there a reason given for it?

Surely if you have such limited test time you’d make sure your bike was up to spec?

Not sure but a few weeks ago, I did hear a rumour, ‘26 spec Ducati V4R bikes and parts are hard to come by and some teams are still waiting for their race bikes to be ready. Andy
