Yep. Not only sharp teeth but a very power bite force for their size. Roughly twice as much psi than the average domestic dog and more even pound for pound than a grey wolf. They're mustelids which are related to bears (they both have five toes) but only very distantly. The mustelidae family includes stoats, weasels, martins, ferrets, badgers and otters. I've had very tame and affectionate ferrets that I could trust completely like a favourite dog or cat. I wouldn't put one down my trousers (claws more than teeth) but mine used to like to pile inside my padded shirt for a warm up on cold winter mornings. I'd never trust a badger.

I love Cherries and the trees are beautiful this time of year. Ours unfortunately, gets smothered in Blackfly very soon. Happens every year and I don't know/can't find out how to treat it effectively. And BTW ....... every part of a Cherry tree and its fruit is poisonous to dogs. Nothing to worry about this time of year though and tbh Mrs Biscuit mithers far more about it killing our 5 than I do. I would guess they'd need to ingest quite a bit before it gets serious? (except for the fruit pits of course).
