No, he had a full set and an electric trolley; at 11!! I'm 64 and I've just bought a new carry bag today. He couldn't half putt though.
Was hoping he had just the 2 clubs to be honest. Surprisingly to me at least a few of my Sons friends when he was in his last 3 years of school played golf and were very keen on playing. My Son not at all, he was baffled by their enthusiasm.Perhaps they were playing for money fleecing OAP's of their retirement money. He really took your retirement from work to an extra level by encouraging to retire from your hobby too.
Off to London with my brother for the day. He’s treating me to lunch at the Savoy as a late birthday treat, then a few bars later this afternoon/ evening. We’re also going to go to Salon Prive after lunch for a drool at the cars we can’t afford.
One might argue that I have messed up. But I am fed and watered, plus I don't have to shop, tidy up, or even think very much. I have simple needs If the weather is rubbish, I don't need to Leave the building. Everything I need is here.
According to my Met Office app, it's 3° (weren't they a group?) less In Berkeley, where I live, than here. That's fine, but it is rain that pisses me off! Those big bastid scooters are popular here. I can see why. It hardly ever rains and you can put away your shit. I fink that if I l lived here, than I'd be tempted to ditch the car and just have a scooter and a motorbike.
Absolutely pouring now. I am in the hotel coffee shop enjoying my coffee and won't be going out today. At home, in England, I would never consider a scooter in my lifetime, but here, I certainly would it has to be a weather thing, although it's crappo today!
Finished watching Round 2 of the Masters and glad to see Marco Penge made the cut comfortably; now I just need him to make a top 10 finish Rory Mcilroy is like Tiger was 25 years ago and it's a joy to behold.
Drove my van for the first time since the accident in mid November, took it in for service and MoT, still a little painful putting the handbrake on and off, but, overall, not too bad
Decided to replace an aging and extremely frustrating, ink jet printer. I now need to borrow someone's child to set it up for me Technology is passing me by. Andy
I found with me, my problem was a very old version of Windows (if you use it) and once I went modern Windows on a new laptop, everything was easy.
Realising that selling a car or a motorbike in the UK has got much harder now than even 3 years ago, and for many reasons. You always get the inevitable timewaster in with the applications, but the ratio has changed and it is now a real case of "Spot the genuine person" now. I know this must vary between the diffferent sales sites, i think i will try Pistonheads next.
Good news! My Mrs backed the winning horse in the Grand National today. Bad News - she only put £1 on. So winnings about £4.
