I live in a bit of a ye olde street and it echoes as most of them do when traffic goes down it. Its also on a blind bend and has scjool children wandering about most of the day hence the 20 zone. Some fat sweaty meff on a courier bike (i caught him this morning as i was taking the dogs out) has recently started red lining it and ragging it off down the hill every morning at 7:30. Hes going to be in for a shock tomorrow morning as im sick of it and ill be waiting for him, either with a camera or a big bag of flour, im undecided yet. Horrible fucking rat.

I had no idea that if you failed developed vetting you could get approved anyway. I had to pass DV. My son is going through the same currently.
It's all right. Starmer has just been on telly to explain that is was all someone else's fault. Apparently no one told him Mandy had failed the vetting process. It was "absolutely unforgivable" he deflected. But just to make sure, he's fired chief civil servant Dolly Bobbins, or whatever he's called, who was appointed to the job after Mandy's vetting process had been completed, so clearly all his fault.
Thats not true. Olly Robbins was appointed Jan 8th, 2025. A formal decision to deny Mandelsons security clearance -following vetting- was issued on 28 January 2025. Robbins had served as the Director of Intelligence and Security — later, Director of Intelligence, Security and Resilience, so he obviously was aware of his responsibilities...
Funny you should say that, I know 2 qualified vets although for balance I'm not sure if their competence as I have no pets for them to practice on. Or as my Daughter explained when she was around 8 years old she didn't want to go to the Doctor's practice as she would prefer one that actually knew what they were doing.
