Played a preseason friendly cricket match. Very sore after yesterday’s off road exertions and tumbles but managed 1 for 18 off 6 overs on the way to a comprehensive victory against local rivals.

That's reassuring. The Spanish railway system is justas crap as the UK. I started with the Trainline but that was useless, so I I tried RENFE, the Spanish system. Turns out there are no trains anywhere around Santander due to an insect on the line, or something. I could see if Wednesday is better, but I want proof before booking anything. That rail replacement bus is a tacky devil that doesn't release its claws without great force. So that idea is binned until next time I'm in Spain. A sign from God again. Fly to Bologna. Even a good war won't get in the way. Although I will wait and see on fuel prices. Everything is bound to go up, but once this nonsense with some where that's gone straight, I doubt if prices will ever drop. A precedent has now been set. Apparently, fuel prices in the USA are high and they don't even buy any fuel off of the whore.
