Hello there. I have a question for anyone running a translogic quickshifter on a Panigale V4/v4r? The bike goes into gear and through the gears no problem, however, when using the quickshifter, I can go from first into second perfectly, then from second to third it won’t change - until I release tension on the gear lever then reapply tension and it changes. Then from third to fourth, fourth to fifth, and fifth to sixth all works perfectly? I have no idea what is not right at the moment. I have checked the length of the quickshifter rod assembly and it’s exactly the same as the stock domino one. As soon as I stick the stock domino one back on, everything works correctly. I have even cleared the DQS adaptations from the ecu and tried again but still the same? I have Rizoma resets set at the standard position of that helps? I am even considering selling the rooms resets and sticking on some Gilles ones as the linkage runs on double ball bearings.?Any help would be greatly appreciated.
have you tried putting it on a paddock stand and going through the gears with your hand? i had a similar problem it was catching somehwre
I have done so, yes. It all selects correctly. It’s as if there’s not quite enough throw on the lever to get it into third properly when I’m riding it. I can hear the ignition trying to cut out as I go for third - it’s a very slight hesitation in the recs but it still doesn’t shift to third. Put the stock domino quickshifter on and it works instantly.
I’ve not had the problem with the translogic but I used to have that problem on my Honda, going up or down the gears you had to ensure you took tension off the lever otherwise it didn’t register the shift as complete so wouldn’t allow the next shift.
