  6. I've just had the spaces on my lower left arm filled with watercolour "flames" so that it looks like the abstract phoenix I have on the upper part of my arm is rising out of the flames and links to the Grim Reaper on the lower part who looks like he's coming out of the flames. It works well I think, but it's hard to photograph as it wraps around my arm.

In two weeks I'm having the spaces on my right arm filled in negative space "leaves" wrapping around the branches of the tree/nature theme I have going on there.

So they'll be like 3/4 sleeves.

  8. I have to laugh:-
No bread in the house so off down the local - they have a small "Tiger" bloomer type loaf reduced - perfect i thought, Cheese and Branston large chunks coming up with lashings of butter.
Get home and take a knife to it, and it's like cutting rubber.. it's Gluten Free and i've done it yet again. Angry and disgusted at myself i made the sandwich anyway. It was like eating cardboard despite the filling, what a waste of calories.
I could feed it to the birds tomorrow but i bet they won't touch it either.

  9. Toast it?

  10. Can be because they know they can't fulfill all the deliveries and so you get sacrificed.

It used to be the case way back that deliveries were started at the furthest point out.

  11. Gluten free does indeed taste terrible.

  12. I've never eaten anything gluten free, and long may that continue. If the bread is so bad that massive amounts of cheese and Branston can't make it edible. it really must be shite!

  14. I discovered recently that many more beers (ales, that is, not the fizzy yellow pish) are naturally gluten free than you'd think, but brewers often don't draw attention to the fact as people will think they're inferior to "proper" ales.

  15. Just be thankful that you can eat gluten! It's not fun being intolerant/allergic/etc to gluten...

  19. Drove to Cambridge to drop Son off at Uni, the fridge, larder and washing machine have all breathed a sigh of relief.

Possibly won't see him until September now as he's off to Aus when he breaks up after his exams.
