Monster 1200 Termis Swap

  1. Hi All,

I've recently traded my Monster 1200 for a newer one and despite assurances, it came with Termis on a race map. There is no doubt that the race map ruins the fuelling and low down power for 'touring' . Now I expected this to be a garage queen as I'd bought an MT10 for touring but guess what - the monster is still more comfortable.

I even had to buy the baffles at £100 a piece. It's obscenely loud with them in tbh passing horses and such on single track roads.

If anyone has a mint euro 4 SC Project slip on I may consider a straight swap. I do have the map key which you and I will have to use to swap them around.

    Cheers

  2. Sc project cans can be loud too, if you don’t like the full sound track, put the stock cans back on.

  3. I had the euro 4 sc project on my older model and it was perfect.

  4. Can't you run it on the road map rather than sport ,or have they removed all the other modes ?

  5. I have a SC exhaust system admittedly on a MV Augusta.

It's the loudest motorcycle I've ever ridden obnoxiously so. Some passerby's put their fingers in their ears.

It isn't a given that it'll be quieter than your Termi system.

  6. I have this SC on mine. Came with a removable baffle IMG_0735.jpeg

  7. I’ve had the euro 4 exhaust on my last model. Much better fuelling too

  8. I had an Akra slip on on mine, didn't need a map and had a beautiful rich sound.
