Decent moto 3 race til Quiles cleared off at the end. God knows what happened to Ogden he was 3rd with a few mins of qualifying left to go yesterday! COG top Brit.
Just watched the main race. No real surprises barring only 2 Ducatis in the top 8. Zarco rider of the weekend imo.
Trackhouse boys looking stronger and stronger each race weekend. Otherwise, not much fun watching the frontrunners..
Isn’t COG Irish? I know he speakers with an English accent but rides under the Irish flag due to parentage. Therefore not British. It’s like Taz being Scottish (or Rod Stewart etc)
I think MM will now be lucky to be in top three at end of the season. Time to retire before another injury.
Yeah, I don’t think he’ll piss about like Rossi did, circulating and cruising in 7th spot. I reckon this’ll be his last season. The knocks take their toll. Probably time to hang em up.
Bet Pecco can’t wait to get away from his current team. This sounds like a bit of a sly dig to me too https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/1...xplains-jerez-motogp-retirement-i-needed-stop
Be *funny if Jorge wins the title and takes another number one plate to a different manufacturer next year.
Aprilia should be the ones this year. All four riders perform well. Bez though, I think he will be the one and despite being a Martin fan, would love to see Bez win the championship. Jorge could not up the pace yesterday, once Digi was past. But hard to know how it could have gone if not starting 10th on the grid. MM ^^ yes, finally injuries and age have caught up. All those years of throwing those Hondas down the track. Add in that maybe the Ducati does not have such a performance advantage now.. Got to say that Zarco goes well though.(Honda getting better..)
Some interesting times being set at the test today... 13:18 Jorge Martin has gone top on the Aprilia with a 1m37.118s. He's just told the media over the lunch break that he's found two tenths of performance today, as he works on trying things he hasn't had a chance to yet due to his limited winter testing.
Was pleased that AM has found something to get his bike working. Need as much competition at the front as possible. Zarco always manages to make me smile. I’ll be sad the day he retires as he can still put the cat amongst the pigeons when all the stars align. As already said it looks like MM will struggle this year. I had a feeling that last year might be his last big one. The shoulder is just done I think. I used to loathe him, then I accepted him and now I know I’ll miss him if he’s not there. He is the pantomime villain to many, but you do know one thing for sure that there will always be fireworks and a talking point when he’s in the paddock.
Pedrobot’s still got it!! https://www.crash.net/motogp/result...jerez-motogp-test-results-hour-hour-lap-times
I’m a big fan of Jorge but Marco has had a year of racing on the Aprilia so Jorge is having to play catch up to develop “his” bike. IMO, in a head to head, Marco has the edge. Surprised by Ogura’s decision this early in the season to leave Trackhouse at the end of the year. Andy
