We put the pups into doggy day care for the first time today, then went to the Metro Centre Shopping where I bought a pair of Levis and had a lovely Thai lunch. We then picked the pups up at 4pm and they've been flaked out ever since so they must have had a good day
Just booked a 10 day Euro road trip in the car for June. Mrs wants to go and see the flowers in the Alps, so we're making a proper trip of it. Can't wait!
I'm gonna make a start to tidy up the garage so that I've got more space and that the British Gas engineer can get to the boiler to service it next week
Wife's been away for a few days and the house was in a bit of a mess so I employed a couple of eastern European girls to give it the once over before wifey returned home. One of the girls took 4 hrs to hoover the lounge carpet and when I enquired I was told she was a SloVac
Just found out that my brother fell down Ben Nevis yesterday and had to be winched off the mountain. The rescue team couldn’t believe he hadn’t been seriously injured as he fell about 200ft off a ridge, sliding at first, but then hit a rock and cartwheeled the rest of the way before his fall was arrested by another rock about halfway down. Thankfully one of my other brothers was with him and was able to phone for help as his phone got smashed in the process. Amazingly, he didn’t break anything and only has loads of cuts and deep bruises and a good story to tell people. Naturally, my first response when he posted in the family WhatsApp group was “Jammy bastard got to ride in a helicopter!” Helpfully, Strava recorded his escapades for posterity.
A Slovac? Did you Czech her passport? Anyway - I’d keep that story to yourself if I were you because all your wife will hear is that you had two east European birds over while she was away
Had a VW Scirocco back in the eighties a very dark colour not quite black. An absolute nightmare to keep clean and a nightmare on a sunny day for cabin heat. I haven't bought a dark coloured car since, usually buy White or Silver.
