Busy time of year for bee keeping. Collected two swarms yesterday and had to make up more hive stands and frames. Now up to 5 hives (from 2 at the start of the year). I still have a hive full of queenless bees and a box with the vicious grumpy bastards ones. I moved their box last night and got stung about 6 times, they even followed me back into the house!
Had a Honey bee in my van going home from work Wednesday. He would have got in the van while I was working, he was released 20 miles away from there. Not sure he'll have got back to the hive sadly.
So far, a delivery to Lincoln, soon. A delivery to Leeds. Later receiving my Ducati and waving goodbye to the Triumph... Better transfer the insurance.
IME silver cars look best for most of the time. Not that that helps you! I’ve had a few black vehicles and as stated cera coat does help.
Today I have had a PET/CT scan at Barts Hospital. Lying still without moving for over half an hour is quite exhausting.
I’m the opposite. Black is my favourite colour for a car or bike yet I always seem to end up with silver ones
@Twin4me Yeah I'd read in close detail too if you started a thread on the ins and outs of beekeeping. I get that it is definitely not a profit driven endeavour (and can be quite expensive to begin with), but the poetry of keeping bees and harvesting honey has a real attraction.
