Hi is there anyone that can ID what this chip is - it doesn't seem to look like normal Stock EPROM's that I've seen. Is on a 996 with standard pipes - bike appears to be running very rich and stuggles above 7k RPM @chrisw ?
Possibly a modified chip, designed to run on open termi's? There were some chip upgrades back in the day, I tend to remember.
Looks like the stock eeprom. Doesn't look in the best of shape though. Might be worth having the bike setup properly. They aren't plug n play. Will need the TPS set, balance and idle CO doing to do it right.
