Pyramid Plastics extender for the Multi V4 rear mudguard / hugger, as new but not in original packaging. I brough a new extender as I needed to replace a plastic rivet from a previous installation, then I discovered it's possible to buy a pack of spare rivets - so all the parts are now complete. £20 plus postage or collect from Milton Keynes area.
Did you find this helped with keeping the bike a bit cleaner? Also did it look ok fitted? Some of their stuff was a bit rough looking
It does and yes they do help with limiting the amount of crap that the bike seems to love to throw over and throughout itself. I would NOT advocate attaching it with rivets or the stickers, as IMO that approach is not adequate. Instead drill holes around the fixing edge and use stainless steel bolts + locking nuts. Far stronger and with a clear silicone sealant applied to the fixing face before you tighten everything up, this seals any further crap from exiting......Job done then!
I fitted the original as soon as got the bike so can't really comment if it's any better than standard - the back end still get sprayed everywhere
