I have my eye on one, should be able to ride that one, as it has a quickshifter fitted as standard, and, the bonus is, it works up and down the gearbox
We ride as one with the West Midlands and the Hereford group from Ducati Worcester. Really good turn out, enjoyed the day
Repaired the flap that covers the seat bolt on the Nsr then decided to take the tank off to check all the work I did a while ago…. It’s all still fixed under there. I was bored
Yep - ive gone one on my z1000 and hyper 1100 - i highly recommend fitting one [ if you can fit one in ]....on a few occassions i can see someone in front of me going to make a move....blow that...stops them dead in their tracks....so glad ive got on one the RSV now.... the sweetest thing is that before i started i was in the frame of mind of [ if it sticks out or shows thats fine as the audible visibility is worth more to me ] but managed to hide it so well you'd never know it was there....until you heard it of course... Been meaning to do it for years but never thought i could fit it in but have a bit of a brainwave the other day while i was in the office...its rarely that i get a win this good...
I have been terrified and entertained in equal amounts by my bike. Then had a puncture. 2 seconds later a guy pulls up in a van and gives me and the bike a lift home. Result
Yes lucky, a bit like when I had an accident on my 999 @3yrs ago. I was @15miles from home having been run off a narrow country lane by a builders van then hit by the car following him. The bike wasn't rideable and I was off to hospital in an Ambulance. It was in the middle of nowhere except one cottage, but working on the cottage was a builder, not the one who ran me off the road, and he lived in the next road to my home. He recognised the bike and offered to put it in the back of his van and drop it outside my house. I put £50 behind the bar for him at our local the next day.
While I have a bike sized hole in the garage, i decided to have a bit of a tidy up, and move some bikes around Been tinkering with the Superdream today, fitted a pair of new exhaust silencers, the old ones were mismatched, and neither were correct for the bike
It’s the one and only way that I know of, to get the respect of a 40ft artic lorry, whilst riding my bike.
Dropped a Scrambler off for an annual service. Thought it was going to be a Desmo but they tell me that was done last year. Andy
Rebuilt the inboard brakes on a Honda Vt250 for a chap I know, fiddly weird design that I’m not surprised never took off.
Helped someone detach their front numberplate: No, he's not wet himself - that's my shadow. He said 'I didn't hit you'. Then I pointed to the numberplate on the floor. Eejit. Amazingly there was no damage to the bike since it was about 3-4mph and the rear plate holder flexed, then the car hit the tyre. Boing. This is the third time I've been rear-ended. Hey ho. I'll take that as a win, since none of them have knocked me off yet. I've left the appropriate part of the number plate.
Rear ended 3 times -and never knocked off! Ever thought about buying Euro millions tickets? Glad you and your bike are fine.
