  1. Sneak an Octopus in there and tell her there must have been a mix up at the pet shop and they added in an Octopus.

    popped into Tate Modern.

Not much a fan of most of it, but this caught my eye, a little unnerving.

  3. nope, delicate circuitry it seems and new controller now required. Lucky this is only my second or i might have to rethink this E-Bike milarky (£72) It's a bespoke item with custom wire lengths but was still toying with the AliExpress route except adapting wires almost cancels out the saving.

  6. Arrived back into the shit show that is Heathrow Terminal 5 last night. 90 minutes sat on the plane while they tried to work out where to park the plane, followed by an hour waiting for our luggage to come through. We gave up on the luggage and came home, after a member of staff said it could take up to 3 hours. Fucking incompetent morons.

  7. Touched down at London Gatwick at 7.16pm, now through passport control, collected baggage and in the car approaching the M23 junction at 7.50pm. Would have been perfect if someone hadn’t stacked it at the roundabout so we are now sitting in traffic.

  8. Just had one of our suitcases delivered. The driver said they’ve got over 9000 to deliver.:astonished:

  11. That’s going to take him a while. Amazon drivers are infamously worked to the limit of their endurance and even they’re only expected to make 250-300 deliveries per day :bucktooth:

  15. Went out tonight for my mate's birthday. Lovely Indian dosa place then cocktails:confounded:
The best thing was being out with mates & their kids too, like we're all family:)

  16. Whoever they are, they ought to take their pics and get the vehicles out of the effing way! When the Police do attend these accidents, and its the same, endless delays when the opening of the road should be one of the top priorities

  17. They still have to wait for recovery, same as everybody else, even if there's no investigation to complete. If you add in the investigation if there are injuries and/or potential vehicle defects or driver impairment causing the incident then there's a lot to do with minimal workforce. Of course you are always welcome to take on the role if you feel you can do a better job than them ;)

  18. Frankly from what I regularly see, anyone could do a better job.

Whoever does the recovery should be tasked with a very fast response time and paid accordingly. When the motorway is restricted or closed for hours it causes huge problems for thousands of people. Opening the roads should be prioritised imo.

A couple of weeks ago on a nearby dual carriageway the police were in attendance at a broken down car. This incident was on the off ramp, in the nearside lane. No one was hurt, there was no damage to investigate. There was a very wide hard shoulder which could have accommodated the car easily and therefore reopening the lane was easy to do. Instead four police cars with eight officers stood around talking. Between them it would have been easy to push the vehicle out of the way, and common sense says that was the best approach. Unfortunately the rules or the attitude are wrong and the congestion is left to build up.

I would do a far better better job than these clowns!
