Had an interesting conversation a couple of days ago about "match" fitness and how Kyle's BSB off season racing in Australia and track days on a road V4R in Spain, helped put him ahead of the opposition at Oulton Park. Can't see Dixon being competitive on the Honda this season at all. Not sure how long Oliveira is going to be out either, fractured shoulder blade, shoulder tendon damage and broken ribs, that's his season over. Andy

Same outcome but a much better spectacle in wsb today. Just watched another superb sportbike race too, you boy Dessoy got collected early on @bigjimmyb unfortunately but Seabright was fighting for a podium to the end.
Thank god for supersport and sportbike series’ this weekend. Brilliant set of races. Decent 6th for Dessoy today in a race of attrition, did a crash swap with Fenton seabiscuit who took turns to crash at turn one today. Shame about TBA crashing out of 3rd on the last lap in super sport. That trumpets not winning and races against the CX Moto though tbf.
Well JD can't do much harm finishing top Honda after this layoff, still a way to go for them unfortunately.
All about realistic goals isnt it. 0.8 off the fastest Yamaha rider (Vierge) after swinging his leg over the bike for the first time is an excellent days work imo.
