Haven’t watched any yet as I have it on catch up but just seen the crash and hope Alex is okay. Seems he’s conscious and on his way to hospital which I imagine is the best place for him right now. Speedy recovery and thank fucking god it wasn’t any worse.
Poor old Lucio you can see he’s deeply upset by Zarcos injuries. I know it’s not in the nature of the sport but you have to wonder how wise it was to restart after they got away with such a horrible crash with Pedro and AM.
Apparently a fracture in his neck and broken collarbone for AM and cruciate and ankle injuries for JZ. Wish them both a speedy recovery
That was a brutal race yesterday. I think the emotion shown by Digi at the end wasn’t so much to do with winning ,but how close he came to being wiped out by that flying wheel and fork !
You have to wonder how much worse that could/would have been without air bag tech. Very lucky boy imo.
Mir handed a 16 sec penalty for tyre pressure and Ogura a 3 sec penalty for the Acosta incident so Aldeguer now second and Pecco third with Bez up to fourth. You couldn't make it up.
Jorge Martin lost the plot when he got back to the garage yesterday. I think he has already apologised ,but it was a fairly feisty few seconds.
I hope the tyre pressure rule is binned for next year. Makes a mockery of the finishing order and surely there is another way…
Few quids worth of bikes crashed across all the classes this weekend. Wsb was just as bad if not worse.
Blows my mind. We’ve all crashed a road bike and cried over the expense. Imagine what someone like Sam lowes billl is by the end of the season.
