Dynajet

  1. Hello folks,
It's been a while since I posted anything, I've been playing with other Ducati engined bikes, so please let me apologise.
My little 1997 600ss is running absolutely beautifully, completely stock condition including silencer, airbox, jetting etc. So, I have a new stage one dynajet kit, should I fit it?, I'm concerned because the wee thing is running so nicely I don't want to screw it up.
Opinions please?, is it worth fitting it?.
    Thanks, Alan.

  2. IMO nope leave it. If your going to mod the airbox & exhaust then consider it .

  3. Thanks for the reply Macca,
I was cleaning the bike so thought I would fit the kit and give it a go.
It definitely pulls smoother at low and medium revs, higher revs there's no discernible difference. Starting from cold it would run better and warmed up quicker, I assume because it's running richer at low revs.
As you said, there's really not much difference overall. The bike still runs very nicely, and has a smooth and reliable tick over. I'll leave the kit in for the moment and see how I get on with it in the next few weeks.
    Alan
