At least you can see them. So many cars now have minute indicators right under the headlight and you can't see them at all.

Totally agree - makes my blood boil to think how "they" have slowly erased and effectively trashed the sensible UK regs that were laid down in the 50's/ 60's. As my eyesight changes i often have a double take when checking whether somebody is indicating or not now.
Its really odd how some vehicles have two separate light clusters on the rear. I think the indicators, brake, tail & reverse lights should all be in the same location. These are not fashion aesthetics, they are safety equipment.
Just like bmw motorcycle rear lights, whoever thought it was a good idea to get rid of the separate tail light and incorporate it into the indicators is an idiot. It’s dangerous in my opinion and I’m amazed it got passed as safe.

Just about to commence 4th attempt at repairing the leaking water butt. Damn things are quite cheap to buy but was brought up in the "make do and mend" generation. Pathetic I know so don't tease me.
I have definitely earned a cup of tea now, but that was the messiest, sloppiest three-bond crankcase cap re-fitting I have done in my life. The three-bond had reverted to its two components of clear gel and paste* which didn't help, but it just went everywhere and I lost some screws and mixed up some screws. Heart just wasn't in it and makes me wonder if this is the last one I do. * Someone bound to tell me that there's a third component LOL
