This video explains what I am looking for. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/iwx5thF5dg8 I have seen them before, but don’t know what they are called or where to find one. You help as ever greatly appreciated.
Perhaps a local metalwork shop would make something for you to your specification for not a lot of money?
Certainly a possibility. In my imagination I see three pieces of tubing, one for the footpeg, one to the ground and one as the foot. How difficult is welding?
It's a skill that I have never attempted but I wouldn't want anything to fail and the bike drop. If I was having a go myself I'd probably stick with nuts and bolts and maybe go square section?
Proworks triangle stand, https://www.24mx.co.uk/product/prow...DuWBX-42Al2sdbEs0r-GJh2lYoAQY5jRoCElwQAvD_BwE. Andy
I looked at those. Not clear to me how the stand connects to the footpeg and whether height is compatible.
Welding isn't particularly difficult, but does take practice...tbh I wouldn't be doing a sidestand for my first try, too much at stake, and even if you managed something that holds it would look as grotty as hell.
Yes, just 3 bits of tube. Welding it would be easy if you've got the experience. Shame you're not nearer...
How about a miniature adjustable axle stand that could take a right angled piece of tube? Just a thought?
