Recycling classic Ducati paint schemes - great as far as it goes. But they should have gone further, and reprised classic bodywork styling cues as well. 5/10
Yes I thought the mail this morning was bizarre. I read it that for example the Multistrada V4S had its DNA and inspiration from the 500SL Pantah, which is just bonkers. I now realize by inspiration they just mean the paint job. Ho hum....
I saw the scrambler pop up on FB, didn’t realise they’d done a whole line up. That silver 70’s sparkle one reminded me of a 916 I saw in that colour at a Crescent Suzuki closed rack day at Snetterton I was invited to, can’t remember the year but John Reynolds was there on his Rizla Gixer so I guess around 2002? Anyway, I particularly remember it because the guy threw it into the corn field at the end of the start/finish straight.
Some are sold out already and some customers have ordered one of each apparently. I dare say most of them will never turn a wheel.
