Aprillia claim their new v4 is the most powerful bike out there. Has anyone ridden one back to back in anger, and the new Panigale to see which one is actually more powerful?
Claimed 220 vs claimed 216 hp, it won’t be the power at the redline that makes one quicker than the other though
Botty dyno would never detect power delta. I think the Aprilia looks and sounds great with reviews to match. It would certainly be on my radar if I was looking to replace my V4S. Aprilias have acquired ergonomics apparently. Try before you buy being key.
While the headlines read well, and the 4 bhp tips it in favour of the RSV, I think the weight will be more telling to us mere mortals. V4R at 187kg vs. 204kg for the Aprilia is quite a chunk and for me, worth much more than 4 ponies. I think you’d feel that whether you’re on road or track.
