I know a few people on the Monster forum have adapted ST Centre Stands to fit early Monsters. Perhaps this is another option, as the mounts on the engine are obviously the same.
fitted one to mine, temporarily, about 10 years ago, was a brief discussion on here about affordable work stand alternatives, note of caution, it didn't like a 180 section rear tyre also not happy with new chain and sprockets, interfered with stand cross member on both occasions. (stand retracted)
