Fitted Termi today The “instructions” were more of a general idea, found a few guides on the net Sounds ok. Will fill up tomorrow, mapping this coming week
Mapped Much, much better Useable torque in 3rd from 2000, drives nicely from just over tickover in 1st. A lot more midrange, it’s more like I was expecting, much louder on start up but not too loud once moving A fairly happy camper now Neighbours haven’t complained yet
Exactly what I found with mine. Pulls smoother from lower revs in higher gears and shed loads more mid-range shove. Tip: there's some stupid political writing on one of the tail pipes that can cause problems at MOT time. Visible in your pic. Fine emery cloth removes it (Scotchbrite doesn't work) and the problem goes away...
The worst bit of modern new bikes is the exhaust system, granted some manufacturers are getting better at disguising the necessary box of euro bollox. It really held me back from buying a new bike, so bought an older Multi with a full Termi system. Just had it remapped last week and its much smoother, better sound too just like a motorbike should sound.
