I've recently reflected on my life and concluded that, with a certain age, there comes a point where nothing exciting ever happens. I've had many exciting moments and events happen in my life. Be it buying ones first car, getting married, getting divorced or becoming a father. Then there are professional achievements like getting your dream job. Or more trivial things like doing a bungy jump or watching your countries national football team win the world cup....... 3 times. Buying a house, paying off a house, I could go on. But there comes a point when you think nothing is exciting any more. Every day is a dreary as the previous one. Life is good but boring. And then this happens! I consider capturing the moment as one of my greatest achievements.
Well done! It took me a minute or two to spot the significance of the picture but it was worth the effort. Somewhere in the house, I have an old photo of my Jaguar XH6 doing 100mph and clocking 100,000 miles simultaneously (on a private road, obviously). Very satisfying.
44 is my lucky number! However, I am afraid that my unbridled joy at this serendipitous alignment combined with a deep sense of oneness with the harmonics of the Universe is significantly diminished by the misorientation of the water temperature and fuel level needles, which, although almost lined up, are neither parallel to the speedo and tacho needles or parallel to one another. Can you rectify that please? It seems to me that the way to do so would be to stop the vehicle before it travels any further and run it at a fast idle in neutral in order to burn off some fuel and get the coolant a bit hotter. You could have also waited another 3 minutes before taking the photo as it would have been 7:44 and if you parked in a shady spot where it was a little cooler you may have seen the exterior temperature display read 6.9 degrees Centigrade, which, had you changed the units to Fahrenheit, is 44.4 deg F.
I noticed that afterwards but I had to take a work related call unfortunately. It would also display D4 rather than D5 (which YOU missed, Mr So-Called Perfect)
