I bought a bike and it came with a carbon tail on it. It has Ducati performance and MS production sticker on the inside but I can't find any part numbers on it. Was this offered by Ducati as a Part? I can't seem to find any information about it anywhere. The quality of the finish seems really good on it which makes me think it is a Ducati performance item. I have returned the bike back to standard and may be selling all the carbon parts the bike came with but could do with some info on it.
Yes. Ducati Performance part manufactured under licence by MS Performance who used to make most/all DP branded carbon from that era. Very nice. Could get up to £500 on a good day. Much more a few years ago.
Thanks for the info. Was thinking of keeping it and the other carbon fairings I have. Going to get the bike finished and see what I have left. I had never really seen one of these for sale and wasn't sure what exactly it was. I see MS production have started making parts again. Probably make parts like this less rare.
