T Hank Thanks. If if I do that over hotel WiFi, that could work but it's not a given that Apple will allow me to reduce their size. I'm outside now on hotel WiFi but the phone is still in my room chomping away at my data allowance, so I will try later.
I have the same issue with not being able to upload pics to the forum because the files are too large. I get around this by taking a screenshot of the photo and posting that as the file size is much smaller.
Madrid next. Either Iberia or BA from Heathrow, or TonyBlair (Ryanair) from Bristol. Bristol is taxi from my house to the airport. Heathrow is taxi, train and then airport bus from Reading.i just. I might try a dummy run to Heathrow T5 before making a final decision. But then if I use Heathrow could go further, like maybe Mehico. If I go to Heathrow, may as well make it count.
This has somehow worked with a bit of emailing, but I never did anything that was suggested here. So, dunno imagine living there! Anyway, bollox to all that shit. Lost interest as I doubt that the phone will leave my hotel room. Even there, on hotel WiFi, it's chomping through my data allowance. Definitely will not come to Madrid. But that's the question. If I have to go to Heathrow for Madrid, why not go to Mexico? Anyone done it?

My sister, who's travelled the world, when she worked for SKF, doesn't reckon on Mexico. It's not safe. So if I go to Heathrow for Madrid, but want another Spainish speaking country anyone got any suggestions?
Mexico City? Been there and done that. The Museo Nacional de Antropologia is good & the Museo Frida Kahlo great if you like her art (whats not to like). I thought the Templo Mayor ruins in the centre of the city were fascinating -partly because they were uncovered in the middle of town! But the ciudad de Mexico is also massive, packed, dirty, hot depending on time of year and often very dangerous. Plus its a 12 hour flight. There is an abundance of great food though!
Right! I've have a long story about the place across the road next to the Co-op, dancing whilst holding your meal, the police coming over the noise, shooting through the ceiling while they join in with the dancing, blood dripping through the ceiling,collected by the bucket provided by the fireman and everyone dancing around the bucket whilst eating their meals. But that's all in my mind. It will still be Madrid later in the year. In later years, I want a Portuguese spell with Portugal and then Brazil. I've given up with asking for £5000 to buy premium bonds and stocks as I just can't be trusted. As I was struggling to walk up a very steep road, after taking an ill-advised shortcut, I promised myself £1000 if I made it. I did, so now I want my reward. I've promised not to do anything sensible with the money, like buying Premium Bonds, or company stocks, so I think that I should be well in there! And I've promised not to ask for anything more, whilst in Spain, so it all will be fine!
