Doubtful as it'll be an EU posting. I'll likely go through a local garage so they can handle what ever work is needed before the new owner.
I just got back from the shop that dare not speak it's name, aka Sainsbury's, and I'm sweating like the proverbial bastard. More of the ol' flash bang wallop coming, I dare say.
Me and Doris tried a few helmets on at J&S. Doris also tried on a new jacket. Then came home after picking the pups up from doggy daycare, and tried to log on to my NatWest app on my phone but it decided to lock me out. So I have spent over two hours online and on the phone trying to get the app re-activated. But no they are having none of it. I have just wasted two hours of my life
Fitted a good pair of used tyres to the 999...for the EMM (!) Getting reasonably quick at it..using the ziptie method. (I used the zipties to get the old tyres off as well as the new ones on...it defo helped)
We have loads of them in our neck of the woods. You probably already know all this, but a number of breeding pairs were released in the Chilterns AONB about 25 years ago and their population has exploded and expanded westwards and north westwards along the M4 and M40 corridors, respectively, and eastwards across Herts (where I am) and into Essex. They look magnificent but they don't really hunt like other raptors as they basically occupy the same ecological niche as urban foxes and pigeons, ie: dustbin raiders.
Great Phones, however I grew tired of battery being completely pants. Swapped to an Android based phone and after a year it's still a little difficult at times to use the newer phone. I can pick up my Wife's iPone and navigate through it's features effortlessly. Maybe another 12 months and I'll have mastered the Android UI.
I've always been on Android, and the recent Samsung S models are really good. If you want to extend the battery to the max lifespan use battery protection (80% max charge) and then use power saving (standard mode so you still have full functionality) to achieve max time between charges...my S23 Ultra goes 20 hours without charge...damn good phones.
Returned from a short trip to Brittany. Went down to Saint Nazaire to look at the old U boat yard. The museum was closed Used DFDS ferries, pretty good.
Aye, good band, I’m lucky enough to live quite near ‘Flowers Band’ and ‘Aldbourne’ who are both right up there as well, flowers are current European champions. try and find some videos from ‘brass in concert 2025’ and you’ll be amazed what they can do! the band I play with are at the top of the ‘1st section’ so a step down from the likes of Black Dyke but still very good
Good day for Andy Burnham. Just tuned in to GB News for a bit of balance Good Christ what a shower of shite that soap opera is.
Oops, That was clearly an ill thought out comment that has been taken in a way that was unintended. I apologised privately to the poster thinking that would be an end but it has remained open and many wolves have jumped on the agree button having smelt blood. My original post was crass and it came across in a way that I had not intended. I apologise for the arrogance that my original post has clearly engendered and if I could withdraw it I would.
