May I ask how you tested the MAP to know it’s working. just got an issue with mine and I would like to test it.
I did as Biot said I bought 2 brand new 1’s from Nelly It turned out to be the front spark plug! So much for the bike being serviced!!!
Friends 1199 did the same. Dealer serviced. Rough running when he got it back. Played with MAP sensors. Replaced them; no change. Was one of the s/plugs.
You can test them with a multi meter, somewhere on here is the procedure I wrote a long time back with photos. If memory serves, its 5v in, one Earth and think it was 3v on the other, higher then its blown, but find the thread. Note they only operate below 5k rpm, after that speed and engine rpm sensors take over, if one blows it takes the reading from the other, hence the motor works as if no problem.
