I offered to pay to have the item delivered to my home in Manchester but weighing it in a box was, in his words, ‘one ask too many’
I found the refund service through eBay was very quick.

 

irony doesn't come close - i drove through Uckfield today on the way home, and had room also.

EDIT - if i had taken the relisting seriously i could have bought it for myself - muuuhahaha.*
