Looks a little like a Beetle based Nova kit but without the headlights to me, but I don't think it is.

 

predates the Nova kit car - it probably inspired it, as closely followed.

 

I didn't try those toilets, instead I went to the "Saint Elme" bar which is about 20 meters away... great beer and interesting beech views! Enjoy Collioure, it's flippen wonderful!
