  1. Hey ya,

I'm after a screen protection / foil. OEM never looks clean no matter what I do, so I'm thinking cover it with something that cleans easy, and stays that way. Tried to search through the forum, found one guy saying he fitted nanoglass from Speedo Angles.

I'd like to hear from you, and your experiences, please, before I buy.

  2. I put Speedo Angels protectors on my Multis from day 1. Actually didn't use one on my 2015 Multi and it got so worn out and scuffed got it replaced under warranty because it was a safety issue.

  3. I put one on my new V2 from Speedo angles earlier this year. So far so good .

  4. Speedo's have got few choices on offer, which one did you go for and why, please?

  5. My preferred Ducati dealer fitted protectors on the previous bikes with TFTs, but when I asked for one to be fitted to my current bike they said they had stopped fitting them due to the number of issues they had with them.

  6. I bought the anti-glare version although there's still plenty of glare in the sun. I don't think you can really have no glare with any display in direct sunlight.

  7. I bought the Speedo angels anti-glare ones as I like the slightly reduced glare they provide, but they don't perform miracles. For me on the 1199 and the v4 i have they have lasted 3-4 years before I have wanted to change them. If you follow the instructions and take your time, I have not had any issues with them loosening or similar :)

  8. Took mine iff after a day. The glare was too much. You just need to be careful how you clean the original so you don’t scratch it IMO. Its not as if its a touch screen so just stay away from scratchy and dirty rags.

  9. I fitted the Antiglare one in 2024 and have had no problems with it. Used it on trips to hotter/sunnier climes, including a month long trip to Southern Italy and like others have said, it reduces glare but does not totally eliminate it. Following a recent trip to the Alps, it's also now been used in heavy snow o_O

  10. I fitted the Ultra Clear version on my '24 V2. Recently had to replace it as it looked like a top thin layer of it was peeling (not the whole protector). Not sure if it reacted to the Autoglym Fast Glass cleaner. Still 2 years of use from one is cheap enough anyway. The Nanoglass version is probably easier to fit.

  11. thanks all, I'll report back after the buy and fit

  12. I can't remember the brand, but I got the frosted effect which greatly helped with sunglare

  13. I have used SpeedoAngel nanoglass on my bikes. Good protection. I scratched a TFT screen with my gloves at a filling station so have fitted protectors ever since.
If your bike has day and night modes on the dash and you have it setup to auto-change, you might see that with a protector it can be keen to switch to night mode and reluctant to go the other way.
