What with the heat, it's time to give myself another haircut. I'm trying to get the webcam on the laptop enabled so I can see the back of my head. The rest is just about done, though it's a bit too straight above the ears. I bought proper hairdresser scissors this time, so I can really stab myself. It's really difficult doing the layering bit with the comb, behind your head! Particularly when every single time I go backward when I want to go forward and forward when I want to go back. You'd think there'd be an acceptable compromise there, wouldn't you? I'd become a hairdresser but I don't understand Polari.
I confess I never did know which was which. The one you do multiple times a day, rather than just once, or the one you'd be marginally less sanguine about falling on you from a large height?
I have had a very slow leak in a rear tyre on my car for about a week. No obvious damage, no nail/screw head poking out. I need to blat down the M4 this morning so bit the bullet and had the tyre looked at. 3” cut wire nail gone through the block tread at a very shallow angle. That was £90 I would have preferred not to shell out just yet. Took a look at the disc pads whilst the wheel was off and they’ll need replacing before Snetterton. Andy
Sadly, it was cancelled due to one of said pandas having a baby the night before. The day out was brilliant regardless and the event organiser rescheduled the feeding without fuss.
