  5. If LH keeps driving like he’s driving rn I don’t think anyone will care what colour his dressing gown and flares are or where he’s seen in them.

  12. Never said he couldn't drive. I'm more impressed with his ferrari drive than some of his past championships which were possibly in the best car.
His taste in clothes is questionable to an old fart like me but always good for a laugh.
And I reckon a night out with sheene and hunt in their prime would be a stuff of legends

  13. A long time coming, but a well deserved victory for LH and Ferrari by any measure -they outclassed Mercedes today on car, driver and team performance as well as strategy. One swallow does not make a summer, but it will be interesting to see how the performance momentum shifts in the coming races, between teams and within teams. Whatever your allegiance in F1, it’s good that Mercedes don’t appear to have the performance domination they started the season with. Hopefully Mclaren and RBR will soon tag them too, just to keep the season open. Wild speculation on my part only, as there are so many variables with the upgrades teams have made, but the timing of the performance shift seems to fit closely to the end of the period when they were allowed to “interpret” the rules on compression ratio with some very clever materials science and engineering to give a dynamic CR of 18/1 but meet the static test limit of 16/1.

  14. Hammer time

  15. Anyone explain how Russell got pole?

    Very poor spectacle.

  16. Good luck and decent judgement of the emerging situation I guess. He took advantage of a poor initial decision by race control. They went single yellow, which allowed him to do a slightly bigger lift than other laps to demonstrate that he was prepared to change direction, but could still post a faster time on the board. After he went through, they went to double yellows, where you can’t improve on a previous laptime no matter how slowly you pass the incident.

  17. I have to say as a take it or leave it viewer of f1, this season has been hugely entertaining to say the least.
Hamilton v verstappen at the start today was superb and the top three with barely a second between them crossing the line.
    Keep it up please.

  18. That track is an abomination though as pretty as its surroundings are.
Even worse for moto gp with the added chicane before turn 2.
