Said for many years the rider transfer market/ “merry go round” spoils the whole season. Do it in the off season, it’s long enough ffs. The new regs and commercial partners etc have made it ten times worse too.

Mav’s possibly damaged his chances with Gunther…. He read into it that because he wasnbnt invited to test the 850, they didn't want him, but one reason could be his lack of fitness? Gunther does not seem impressed…..
One year ago next round he crashed at the sachsenring and done absolutely nothing since. Lots of baggage too. Doubt he’d even get an offer from wsb.
Occasionally you’ll see his name crop up around 5th in the opening minute of practice session one and remember he’s actually still racing.
