  1. If you are restoring your bike and need a quality wiring loom look no further. I make looms for the following models/years.

    750 SS/GT <'75 £210
    900SS/Mike Hailwood Replica '78-'80 £285
    900 Darmah £340
    Pantah 500/600/650 £285
    750 F1/Montjuich/Santamonica.n £285
748/916/996 Race/Track Day front loom to remove left bar switch/speedo/warning light and Ignition Switch. £150

All looms made to order. Manufactured in the UK using thin wall automotive grade wire and OE connectors.

I am looking for complete looms for other models in this range, so If you need a harness, and it is not listed, please get in touch to see if I can help.

  2. Hi there, I am rebuilding a 1981 ish MHR bevel…what is the difference between a 1980 wiring loom and a 1981-82 loom?

  3. Electric start I would imagine.

  4. Electric start came in in'83 with the gen 2 version.

  5. Ian Fallon's Ducati Bevels Twins book shows three UK 900 Replica wiring diagrams, 1979-80, 1981-83 and 1983-84.

The difference between the first two isn't obvious with a casual glance and strangely none of them show a starter motor, but the 1983-84 900 US Replica model diagram does

Reading the chapters on the MHR it appears it was still offered as kick start only and any that were electric start probably/possibly used the same wiring as the S2 which in turn probably/possibly used the same wiring as the Darmah. My italics btw.

And then you need to ascertain exactly what model year a particular bike is... which isn't necessarily the same as it's registration year. Ho hum : unamused:
