  1. She is a professional presenter with a fitness and motivational speaking background. No competition cycling experience whatsoever but that is the norm now for many of the televised sports. Andy

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  2. Yeah Benji.

I seem to recall that Lantern is a qualified lawyer, not that we should hold that against him...... He gave it all up to concentrate on his cycling passion.

I watch some of his stuff my Son watches a lot more of LR, loves his insightful commentary.

An acquaintance of mine rode in the tour in the early 80's, one of the few English riders to have done so in that era.

  3. What a stage shame it came so early.

Kudos to Paris paintre for going again as he did in the giro 70k to go, got some balls on him.

UAE are a team above obv, six of them sat at the front for the slog part of the day with pogi at the back, Yates in front of him and swapping bottles and icing each other all day. No other team like it depth or organisation wise imo.

Pidcock getting dropped with 9k of the tourmalet left, disappointing.

    Remco *head butting Seixas, bizarre.

  4. Brilliant sprint finish today. Won’t spoil it but worth catching up on.

  5. When Pogi went today he closed down Carapaz’s 40 second lead in 700 metres on a 1 in 9 gradient. lol.
And the slightly shit thing was no one even attempted to go with him they know they’re already fighting for second and absolutely no point blowing a gasket with just under two weeks to go.

Kudos to Remco for getting back on and taking second.

  8. I was getting flashbacks from the horrible white lime they spray on the roads after our recent ride over Puy Mary at the EMM. Not sure if it contributed to Pidcock’s crash, after the initial shock of seeing the crap all over the road as you went into a corner we realised it wasn’t actually slippery. It was however a bastard to clean off the bike when I got home.

Pog was incredible again closing Carapaz

  9. It will never not blow my mind that a sport like uci world cycling/tdf has teams named after night street shops.
If only woolys had held on until the www era.
