  1. Not mine but the lad i bought mine off of. Engine has been completely rebuilt. I was chatting with him just now and he said he had it for sale...i dont know the price yet but if anyone is looking for the most bonkers bike theyve ever ridden this wont disappoint. Needs alot of upkeep, regular oil changes (every 500 for the top end and [i do the gearbox oil at the same time but that can be left to 1000miles] ) - Spares are hard to find especially main engine spares like cylinder liners, cranks but they can be found. Anyway...pics...when ive got the price ill stick it on...if youre interested ill pass his phone number on... ok price hes looking for is 6k

And i will add and i cant stress this enough as i really try not to pester him and mix with posting on the forum for visibility for others....ive owned mine 2 years since i bought mine from him. If ever ive had any questions, or needed help hes always been there to answer my questions (and literally about 30 mins ago when i had to semi strip down the clutch as there was a washer missing that was stuck to the plate of the original oem clutch) hes answered another question of mine...that being said the more ive learnt the less ive had to message him. Hes a great guy and i think...he loves them as well as hes always owned one right from when they came out.

Good fun, expensive to keep, but may end up shooting you in your sleep.

  10. I raced one back in the day. Lucky for me a sponsor owned it and paid the bills.

A TM660smx is the ultimate in bonkers.

  11. Ok, i know I'm ( my wallet is ) going to regret even asking, but wheres the bike based?
Ive wanted one of these for so long, and they so rarely come up for sale.
Loved my KTM 690 sm ,the handling at least, but hated the single cylinder vibrations.

  12. Its up in Newton Aycliffe (Co Durham) - if you want ill pm you his phone number.

  13. If it helps when i collected mine we took the wheels and forks off and it went comfortably in the back of my SMAX!

  14. Just saw the advert, only about 80 miles from me, and i have a van. Could be an expensive weekend.
    I must resist......

  15. Heh - hes a great bloke....and i will say they need a lot of attention but, as i said....hes a great bloke and is always (for me) been on the end of a whatsapp chat (but i dont want to hold him to that). Through my lack of knowledge its been a very steep learning curve but, mines running really well now. Youd have to ask him about the machining mods...but im sure its something along the lines of machining the engine cases, updated headgasket parts and machining the heads so the gasket sits flush or something like that....but ultimately it leads to a more reliable engine. Change the oil every 500 miles and it should run fine. Mines literally a plaything for ripping to work and back and short stints.
