Wired up the billet starter switch for my trackbike. Not tested in anger (only on a multimeter) as no battery yet...

Good to see back on the road. Yours looks cleaner than mine/never had a red one. Also storage must be nice and dry considering time since you last used (from memory). Just checked the belts and idler/tensioners on mine. Two lugs broken off c/fibre front cover which is pretty common so not bothered.

After work yesterday I took the wheels off and up to Bike Tyres Leeds to have the balance checked after the Autobahn wobbles and vibes. Front was out by 20g Rear by 30g Hmmmm methinks bigmoto didn't bother to balance those when they fitted them before I took delivery. Sorted for a tenner. Today's bike doings include a ride over to bigmoto in Macclesfield for a little chat, not about the tyre balance situation but about the fine the DVLA are threatening me with because they didn't do the paperwork on my trade-in and I foolishly gave them the entire logbook, the DVLA think it's still mine and uninsured... They also sold me a warranty with the Enduro and never provided the paperwork so I had to pay for a new fuel sender myself. On the way home I might drop in here for a tasty burger.
All sorted, amazing how much more effective it is to stand Infront of someone than to send emails and phone messages. And the burger was delicious, very recommended for anyone in the area.
Mate picked me up this morning with his dirtbike, had a good laugh riding it around, you'll just have to believe me that picture is actually me 6 ft in the air
Was just about to go out on my M1100 this arvo when I looked at the sprocket nut and thought it looked a bit mucky. Reached down to clean it and realised it was just finger tight, despite the circlip being there wirelocked on. Took it off, cleaned it up, reinstalled with grease and torqued to 156Nm. Installed circlip, made sure the tang of the circlip was engaged and wirelocked it again. Strange. This happened to me once before in 2000 on my old 748 when we had gone to Circuit Val de Vienne to the Ducati Club de France 25th Anniversary.
Went out on the versys today, went to visit mum, did a couple of jobs for her, rhen went to visit my son and grandbabby, from there, the son and myself met up with mum to go visit dad, then home, got another 141 miles on it towards the 1st service, just need another 59 miles now
Been away to St Lucia for three weeks and itching to get back on the bike after getting back Monday. Opened garage today to find a pool of oil next to the left front fork. So had to take the CX out instead. I am sure the previous owner said fork seals had been done not long before I got it, reading around 2-3 years seems about the going rate for fork seals on this model Multistrada.
