I have a Klim Marrakesh jacket which I’ve had to wash a couple of times after sweaty, fly encrusted European trips. The first time some of the reflective patches started to peel but it wasn’t too bad so I asked Motoledgends for advice. They suggested washing it inside out in a laundry bag which I did this last time but the patches have now almost all disintegrated. The issue is the ‘glue’ that held these on is still present and looks pretty dreadful. This glue is pretty solid and I’m not sure I’d be able to remove it easier, it’s resistant to fingernail picking. Does anyone have suggestions or a source for some sheets of self adhesive reflective material (not dayglo) that I could cut to shape and reapply?
Yeah I agree but I don’t want to hear stuff up and damage the fabric of the jacket. I might try a hair dryer
