Wasn't expecting that!

  1. Cracking day at Cadwell Monday. Really lucky with the weather.

    Was plagued by the bike deciding it wanted neutral at mansfield despite me deciding 2nd was my preferred choice.

    Then on the last session, 2 laps in, out of Barn, half way up the back straight going for fourth.......... no more gear lever.

    Anyone seen this before with Rizoma?

    Anyone know where i can get spares in the UK?

  3. I was mucking about with it after every session trying to make sure there wasnt any additional downward pressure on the lever to stop it jumping out of 2nd.

    So quite possible.

    For the lowest grade of alloy going.

    Ouch.

  11. Damn! I lost my gear lever on the straight too on my 916 - bolt loosened and off it went - luckily I had a reverse-shift lever in the car so that was the day I learned to use reverse shift!!

    You could (should!) do the same, get a reverse lever and gain seconds on the lap time (yeah right...)

  13. Im thinking of getting a pair of their reservoirs and a purely bling upgrade. Hope they dont leak :biggrin:
     
  14. Sounds like you'll be alright as long as you do them up as loose as a clowns pocket.
     
  15. Fell off at Mansfield. Rizoma not good in a crash. Lost footpeg and gear lever. Moore Racing will get you all the bits.
